Welcome back!!!

It has been such an amazing week back at school!

Third grade came back ready to work and have fun!

In math, we continue to work on different methods of multi digit addition and subtraction! All of the students are so engaged and having a great time with it!

In ELA, we are working on point of view and the importance of dialogue. We have had some amazing discussions and students are definitely paying attention to these elements during independent read.

We continue to love Patricia Polacco and her wonderful stories. This week we have been focusing on writing about an important family memory.

In social studies, we continue to research India. This week we did a lot of comparing and contrasting using venn diagrams and t-charts. Students continue to learn new vocabulary and interesting facts that will help them design a student-led project about India. Please make sure you save the date for our Global Experience (Monday, Feb. 24 @ 8:10)

Finally, this week, we started structured word inquiry. To learn more about this, check out this link:

Tomorrow we will visit the art museum as part of our Junior docent program.

We are excited to see the wedding of Gev. Denny and her husband Noah on Friday!
