DBQ Reflection

  1. How do you analyze documents with a partner?

We usually read it by ourselves and then check answers with each other

  1. What is useful about working with a partner when you analyze sources?

We can share answers and see a new point of view

  1. What did you not like about working with a partner? Why?

I didn’t really like it because we would go at different paces and end up not even working together

  1. Did working with a partner help you better answer our essential question? Why or Why not?

I don’t really think a partner did but doing the DBQs helped me understand by letting me see people’s point of view.

What we learned about Yom Hazikaron

Today we learned that it depends on where you are/who you know for how much you are affected with sad “holidays” (9/11 and Yom Hazikaron and Memorial day). If you are in America and you don’t know anyone who died in Israel, it won’t really affect you. However, if you are in Israel, chances are you might know someone that died and then you will be more affected but that doesn’t mean that Yom Hazikaron should be sadder in Israel and less sad in America.
