Programming Hannukah Card Reflection

1. We were so post to make a Hannukah card with the coding program “scratch”. There are a lot of different “codes” that you can do to the “sprite” (the little object in the “scratch”). You can put multiple backdrops and sprites. The codes are there to control what the backdrop(s) and sprite(s) do.

2.I am a little above a novice because we have used scratch in the past for a Hannuakh card that was about a year ago, and a few other times in math/science last year Im pretty sure.

3.What was easy was that I knew how to get a sprite and backdrop and I actually remembered my username! What was challenging was that it was hard to make two sprites go at once, so instead my second sprite was just there for “decoration”/backround. In the future, I would like to learn how to fix that. Lastly, it was hard to get the sprite to do a lot of different moves because when I would make it do something that only lasted about 0.2 seconds so I had to make a lot to make it last about 30 seconds!

4.I learned that making a half decent scratch takes time and you arent going to maybe get it right the first time you do it.

5.Here is a link for my card:

5.All you need to do is press the green flag and then sit back, and watch it! Enjoy!
