1. How did you feel when you realized there was such an unequal pay amount between workers and bosses?
At first I was very frusterated that there was such a big pay gap. I was also confused as to how the people who got a raise, “earned” a raise compared to others who also deserved a raise. Now I still feel a little annoyed, but have a better understanding that this is how the real world works and that life is not equal.
2. Why does unequal pay between workers and bosses happen?
It happends because most likely the boss comes up with the idea of the company. Meanwhile, the workers, just help out to make the company work/happen. Therefore, the bosses get more credit, which equals more pay and the workers get less credit, which equals less pay.
3. What is a realistic solution to prevent such unequal pay from happening in the future?
Maybe we can have a lottery. This is so that if you dont have a very high paying job, you can still have a chance to have more money. This way, there is more balance in the amount of money being given out, and there wont be inflation.
4. What is one topic that has interested you thus far and why is it interesting to you?
Something that has interested me is rent. This is because I like to comapre different people’s rent’s depending on their income. I also like to problem solve how you can get the best deal of rent, yet still having a nice place to live in.
