Whooping Cranes

Cranes are very pretty birds but they are endangered species. So people help cranes by making bird sounds. While the baby cranes are in there eggs humans teach them how to sleep in the water and to migrate. After they migrate they go back where they were raised and raise their own young. I  love learning about Cranes!

  1. Orli, i am so glad that cranes was a topic you got interested in. I think it is so amazing how scientists have worked with them and helped to keep them from becoming extinct on our Earth. Did you know that there are about 100 in Wisconsin and they can live to be 22-24 years old? I am so proud of you for all of the learning you are doing at home. I miss you but am so glad I am able to see your face and hear your voice on Facetime and zoom.
