Copyright (SBC Week Three)

Copyright is a rule that was made to stop others from stealing an image, a video or something like that, that you made. Which means if someone uses something that’s copyright for themselves without permission, its illegal.

Here’s a picture for a story I made called Copyright

Once upon a time there was a dude named John. John is a cookie, but he looks like a stick person. John likes drawing. So he drew the picture above, and made it copyright. So now, nobody can use it without permission. But then a frog used it for himself without John’s permission!!!! And then posted it on the internet!!!!!! Try to finish this story!!

Hint!!: What do you think is going to happen with the frog??

  1. The frog was so happy; he left his home on a sunny day. So happy, he went to text all his friends while walking across the street. He was too fixated by his phone that he walked into the street without looking and got run over by a car. In this case, it is CAR-ma that got him!

  2. I like the fact that you created a picture and a story to illustrate your point. Below is my attempt at finishing the story:

Well — if the frog posted the picture on the internet without permission, the frog faces some serious fines. He might have to give up his favorite lily pad in the pond. Not having his prime spot in the pond will cause him to not catch flies, so he might starve. Hopefully the frog will have learned an important lesson and not post a picture without permission the next time.
