Every year, seventh grade at MJDS has a fall retreat; designed to encourage teamwork, leadership, and positive interactions between students.  We spent our retreat rock climbing at Devil’s Lake State Park (with Apex Adventure climbing guides Lynn and Hannah) and it was a blast!  The weather was amazing, the sights were gorgeous, and most importantly; the students had an excellent time working together and cheering each other on.  We all worked together, encouraging each other to complete our climbs to the best of our abilities, and showed how teamwork and positive encouragement goes a long way.  We are so proud of how our students overcame many of their worries to do amazing things.
