Greetings and Salutations! This blog is to share and reflect about my life-long learning and what is going on in my classroom. I am a certified ELA teacher who is in her 11th year. I recently transitioned from high school to middle school and this blog will let my parents and school community in on what’s going on behind Gev. Petrova’s classroom door. I can’t exactly tell you where the blog will take us, but my original writing intentions are to share and reflect upon what my classes have learned in the previous week or weeks. I will share students voices quoted from reflections, as well as what I am reading professionally and personally. I intend to use techniques I practice in my own classroom in order to give parents and readers a little glimpse into my classroom.
