I think that the timeline project was a fun and good use of time (get it). I also think that I did really well on my timeline because mine had a lot of detail and mine was the only one that was diagonal.

the day we heard that we were going to dissect made my heart pound. the class was filled with excitement. when we got our fish the smell was horrid. eventually, we all got used to the smell. all of us started to poke the fish and look at it with our magnifying glass. the next day we cut open the fish. the intestines were slimy and gross. by the end,n we all did not know what was coming with the sea lamprey.

the sea lamprey was much grosser. it was much bigger as well. the skin looked rough but was really smooth.
this week was the best week I have ever had is science.
one choice I made on my project was that I made the border maze. I made this choice because in the book, the maze surrounds the glade and it looks like the whole one-pager is the glade.
I chose the quote Rember Survive Run because it represents the whole book. you have to remember where you are going in the maze, you have to survive in the maze and you have to run the maze to get out.
another choice I made on my one-pager is that I put the 2 differences between the main characters.
also for one of my choices I put a map of the maze and then put a picture of the actual maze.
my last choice was that I put all of my info next to each other so then it is more organized.
I chose to make a picture of the 2 main characters because they in the book have a telepathic connection and so it has a big part in the book.
I think that the Fred challenge was the most comfortable because if our group messed up we would know what to do the next time.
this year I am looking forward to dissecting the fish because then it is more like an experiment than just a challenge

If I could improve my solar oven I would put some more insulation in the box itself because when I had my smore the marshmallow did not melt.
also, I would fix the positioning of my reflector piece so the light goes on to what you are cooking.
