Working Towards My Goals

  • MATH For math my new goal is to concentrate and not talk a lot and ask for help when I need help. I am working towards that by getting my math notebook or getting my math binder when I need help.
  • HEBREW For Hebrew my new goal is to not be silly all the time and to concentrate.I am working towards that by calming myself and listening to the teacher but I am still working on that.
  • WRITERS WORKSHOP For writers workshop I want to work on thinking of what I am going to write and telling someone that they are distracting me when they are distracting me.I am working towards that by thinking harder and going on another spot when someone is distracting me.
  • INDEPENDENT READING For my new goal in independent reading I want to work on reading more poems and fiction because I usually don’t read those genres.I am working toward that by pushing myself to read different types of books. I am going to keep a list of books and what genre they are.

Portraits

What did I learn about portraits? I learned that portraits can have a person in them, they can be of your family,  or it can be a friend. I learned that portraits can be in black and white and some in color.  Some portraits can  look real and some look fake.

What was my favorite portrait and why? My favorite portrait was a girl with coral bracelets and she looked really fancy She was dressed like a queen.

What was my least favorite portrait and why? My least favorite portrait was one with a witch throwing up flowers because it it looked creepy that is why it was my least favorite.

Veteran’s Day

I learned that World War 1 was one of history’s largest war’s.

I learned that there was a red poppy that resembled the blood of all the people that were killed.

I also learned that more than 29 million soldiers died or were wounded.

I also learned that over 65 men in more than 8 nations fought in world war 1.

I that in 1918 world war one ended and at 1939 world war 2 started and at 1954 the Veitnam war started.

I am happy for the people who survived in world war 1 and 2.
