Which One Doesn’t Belong?

There is so much in math that involves only one right answer. I work to find math opportunities for the kids where there can be more than one correct answer, the kids just need to be able to justify their thinking. One activity that allows for this is called, “Which One Doesn’t Belong?”. Check out this picture and take time to talk about it with your family. Which one do you think doesn’t belong and why? There can be many correct answers as long as you justify your thinking!
