Are you reading and talking with your child?

Think about what your daily interaction with your children looks like?  Are you talking with them about their day? Are you sharing with them about your day?  One of the most important jobs of a parent is to build a child’s literacy development.  The more you talk to your child, read with or to the more their vocabulary will continue to expand.   I challenge you this year to make one slight change in your interaction with your child or children.  What else can you do at home to build your child’s literacy background?  Please respond and share your ideas to help us all think a little differently about how we interact with children!
