I liked that after my class read a book we talked about what kind of writing the author did.

In my book I think I have some detailed information but next time I could add some more.  An example of detailed information I have is when I describe the Superbowl they lost.

In my book I am using descriptions by telling facts about my story.

I learned about different types of text features that you can use in non fiction books.

My mom’s side of the family came from Hungry and Ukraine. They immigrated in 1907. My grandparents  immigrated by boat. Some similarity’s are that they traveled from Ellis island.

In class we did a role playing activity about the march on Washington. My character is a white parent who lives in New York.  In my office I work African Americans who are janitors and elevator operators.  I would not march because I don’t want to get hurt or go to jail.  I think my character would support the march.  I could support the march by donating money.

I have 12  entrees so I think I could work on writing more.

I need to work on having a variety of entrees.

For some books I have 2 or more entrees per book and for some I don’t.  I want to work on a variety of entrees per book.

For some of my entrees they help me understand the book more.

In my R.R.N. one thing I do well is writing predictions.

I want to work on asking questions and answering questions about my book. I can use the questions to ask about my reading sheet to help me with my reader’s responses.

My one word goal is focus.  To me focus means to listen.

To me, focus means to slow down and stay  on topic.
