Hello my name is Indy and I live in Wisconsin. I am thirteen years old and am in eighth grade. The activity I like doing most on Sunday mornings is playing basketball. The super power I would like to have is telepathy because it would be fun moving things with my mind, I could make every shot in basketball, and I could control the ball for every Boston sports team making sure they win. I would rather be superhero than a wizard because it would be fun saving people. My favorite song right now is either Numbers by A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Roddy Rich, and Gunna, or Suicidal Remix by YNW Melly and Juice Wrld. I like Numbers because it has a nice beat, and I like Suicidal because Juice Wrld’s and YNW Melly’s vocals in it are very good. Three fun facts about me are I was born in Boston, I play basketball, and I have family in Mexico. My blog is about my journey through school.

My name is Mrs. Christi Henry, and I am a 5th grade teacher from Pennsylvania. I really enjoyed reading your blog and feel like I learned a lot about you.
I love all sports. As a kid growing up just south of Philadelphia, going to Sixers games was a favorite activity for my family. I always loved to watch the Sixers play the Celtics. It was a great rivalry at that time. Nowadays, I prefer college basketball to professional and love watching Villanova play. I was so sad to see March Madness cancelled, but we all have to do our part right now to keep everyone safe and healthy.
Can you imagine how confused the players would be if you were moving the ball around with your mind? I am imagining the Harlem Globetrotters games, where the other players get so twisted up and confused by their antics. I would choose to be a superhero too. I love all of the Marvel movies. If I could choose a superpower, I would probably choose the ability to fly. I would love to travel without having to be on an airplane…especially now!
I also love music and am fascinated by the people who create it. Even though you and I have very different taste in music, I can certainly connect with your passion for a great beat and interesting lyrics. My favorite music tends to be live jam music by bands like Phish, Dave Matthews, The Grateful Dead, and Govt Mule, but I have a great appreciation for all music, and actually LOVE Lizzo and Jon Bellion right now! I have two teenage daughters at home who introduce me to lots of new music everyday.
Right now in PA, we are encouraged to stay home to keep everyone safe. So, we are playing games, reading, doing projects, and exercising to keep ourselves busy and active. I am learning to play lacrosse with my left hand and have recently beat my husband at chess! That’s a huge accomplishment in my house! What are you up to?
