Day 2/3: Camping in the desert

This is Sophie coming in with the recent 8th grade Israel news.

Today  we just left our campsite that we camped at. The campsite was called Makhtesh Ramon which is a well known crater. When we got there we separated into pairs and went to set up our tents where we were gifted with mattresses and sleeping bags for the night.

Then we started to make dinner, and we helped by chopping and washing vegetables. Before we knew it, we were eating a delicious dinner, and we even got a tasty dessert of some toasted kosher marshmallows.

We ended our night with a quick star gaze and then went to bed.

This morning we woke up and packed up our campsite. Then we had an amazing breakfast where we were also chased by a bee. Then we got on a bus and went to our next destination.

This was the latest news.

This is Sophie, signing out.
