First Chicken Plan

How did your research guide your plan? My plan materials and steps are all from my research that I did so it made a big part in my plan.

What information do you still need to find? I think that when I make my plan with my whole group, I’ll put a few more steps to make it make more sense.

What new information did you find as you planned? A lot of new information especially about how much your chicken should weight.

How do you think this plan will work with your group members? I already read a few people’s plans and they are very similar to mine.

How can you make sure every person’s voice is heard in the group? We should make jobs for everyone so everyone has a part in the project.

Golf Ball Challenge

How did the chance to try again make you feel? It made me feel like I could improvise my plan.
How did the chance to try again help your team? Or hurt your team? Last time I didn’t really try my hardest so getting to do it again meant that I could try my best this time. And now this time we actually did the challenge and it actually worked!
What have you learned about yourself as a team member? Sometimes I get off track or just give up instantly and now I think I might work on trying my hardest like today and stop getting off track.

Reflection for challenges in ETC so far

When I started ETC this year I didn’t have a growth mindset and I wasn’t participating much. Like in the pringles challenge I kept on getting a fixed mindest and I stayed that way for the rest of class. But now I’m using a growth mindset and even when I’m frustrated now I just forget it and get back to work instead of keeping a fixed mindset. And also now I have been participating more and sharing my ideas more instead of letting others do the work.  Like in the cups challenge I was working good with my partners and we ended up making a big tower because we were all sharing our ideas and participated the most we could. And I had a good time doing the cup challenge now that I had a growth mindset.

High Holidays Reflection

In the past few weeks, we have been in groups answering a question about the high holidays. My question was What is the difference between Yom Kippur Services then and now?

1. Why did I pick my topic? I didn’t this question as a yes on the sheet to sign up so I didn’t really want this one but it ended up being fun anyway.
2. What was the main idea that I learned that I did not know before? I truly didn’t know anything about this topic so I learned a lot of new things which was cool. Which means it was good that I didn’t get one that I picked on the sheet.
3. What did I find interesting and enjoyed doing my project? I thought it was really cool to see how Jews used to be in the Holy temple and what they did.
4. How did doing my project enhance or influence my high holiday experience? When I went to Yom Kippur I really imagined that I was at the Holy temple praying and it was very meaningful to me.
