As we move into our new year I wanted to post about an article that was recently shared with me by someone in the MKE community who is an amazing leader, models gratitude for her family and those around her. Please take a few moments to read and I hope your 2019 is full of love, gratitude and joy.
Why Teaching Kids Gratitude and Thankfulness Is Hard as Hell
Thank you for sharing. I’m a little late to the party, but could anyone share any tips and tricks they use in their own house for fostering thankfulness and gratitude?
One thing that we do at night is, before going to sleep, everyone shares two things from the day for which they are grateful. After going around, we have the option of adding one.
We will do something similar, reflecting on the week, 1-2 nights a week during dinner.
